by three tornadoes shaped like boys
each gets frustrated when
their voice is lost in all the noise
consumed with planets
our oldest son with head in skies
his first words surprised me
they were, Galileo Gallilei
in the middle, a boy in superhero clothes
protecting our fortress from, all those pesky evil foes
and then our youngest, content to take all of this in
I can only image what, adventures are in store for him

reminders of my shortcomings
